Our jewelry is created by hand. It may be soldered, plated, hand-formed, hammer textured, hand-assembled, or we may have placed a stone in your piece. As a result, some pieces may display natural solder marks. These markings occur during the hand‑soldering process and are considered a normal characteristic of artisan craftsmanship. They are not classified as defects or damage.

Each natural shell is one‑of‑a‑kind, variations and small imperfections are completely normal. These are not signs of damage or defects. We never use solutions, dyes, or artificial coloring on our shells, every marking and hue comes directly from nature.

Some shells may have stripes or lines that sit closer together, farther apart, or appear darker in color. Others may show soft discolorations such as pink, red, or brown tones. These colors develop naturally from the snail’s environment. Pink and red hues often come from algae and bacteria containing carotenoids, the same pigment family that gives salmon its blush and corals their warm orange tones. Depending on the snail’s diet and water conditions, these pigments can create a light pink tint on the shell as it grows.

These characteristics are part of the shell’s story. They celebrate the ocean it came from and make each piece beautifully unique.

Expected Shipping Time: All orders are processed within 2-5 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. 

Return Policy: All sales are final. We do not offer cancellations, exchanges, or issue refunds.  

Please note: Final sale items, including personalized, engraved, and made-to-order jewelry, cannot be returned.

Items purchased with promotional discounts may also be considered final sale. Please review your order carefully before completing the checkout.

If your bracelet or ring isn’t fitting comfortably, we do offer resizing for a service fee. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order to request a resize — no exceptions. 

The first thing to do is contact us at sales@shophjonline.com to see if your jewelry can be resized. Please include your order number and the name on your order when you email us so we can quickly locate your purchase. 

Resizing comes with re‑plating and a new layer of tarnish‑resistant coating, giving your piece a refreshed finish. Customers are responsible for all shipping fees when sending jewelry back to us. We do not provide prepaid shipping labels. We strongly recommend using a trackable mailing method, as we cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged packages during transit before they are received. 

You will need an RMA number to send any jewelry back to us. We do not accept packages without an RMA number, and any package received without one may be returned to sender. Please ensure your RMA number is clearly written on the outside of your package. 

Time Expectations for Resizing: Once we receive your jewelry, resizing typically takes 2–5 business days. We will email you your tracking information as soon as your package is ready to ship back out.
